About The Finance Shelf
The Finance Shelf collects public reports and research on the financial industry: fintech, payments, banking, insurance, venture capital and private markets. It covers regulators, central banks, consultancies, industry associations, universities and investors, and research papers from around the world.
How it works
A crawler visits public publication pages, respecting each site's robots.txt and a slow crawl rate. Documents are read page by page. Summaries, key insights and figures are generated automatically, and every figure shown is checked against the page it cites. When we are not sure, we show nothing.
Publishers
We host full documents only when their licence allows it. Otherwise we show a summary, short excerpts and a link to the original. Publishers can request removal at any time; requests are handled within 48 hours.
